So great! Some points made me lol so hard - especially the first point!! It's so true! Why is everyone suddenly a self-proclaimed nutritionist?

I stopped eating meats and became a pescetarian since I was 13 - so about 17 years ago - and stopped dairy 3 years ago which I thought I could never do, and literally so many people, especially older people, feel like they have the right to give me unsolicited advice about eating. Still, I try and respect their opinion, and never give anyone my opinion on the topic unless asked for it. Even then, most people just don't really want to listen.

I really respect what you say about not engaging in conversations about food at the dinner table, not dating only vegans and not lecturing people about it. :)

From my experience, most people are turned off from the 'vegan' lifestyle because of the vegans that lecture people into it. They have to come into it on their own and do whatever it is they can - even if it means they eat dairy-filled cake once in a while. It's a very judgemental world and it really shouldn't be. The root of veganism is about compassion after all, so I think it would be great to see more compassionate and accepting vegans — like you!
